Use the correct pronouns. Some will need a verb. Some are negative. Begin sentences with a capital letter.
Example:
My family and I live in Honolulu, Hawaii. We live in a small house on the beach.

          Last month, I went back to my hometown for the first time in ten years. Everything is different now. In the past, 1 a lot of great stores on Main Street. Today, 2 only a few stores, and 3 are all very expensive. Ten years ago, 4 many office buildings downtown. Now 5 a lot. In the 1990s, 6 an old movie theater on the corner of Center and Main. 7 beautiful. Now 8 a huge parking lot on that corner.
          I visited my old high school, and I was very surprised. In the old days, 9 a wonderful park right next to the school. After school, my friends and I went to the park and played Frisbee or just sat around and talked. The park isn't 10 anymore. 11 a football field next to the high school now. Football fans are happy, I'm sure, but I miss the park!
